A newly-constructed accommodation building complex for trainees at Battalion Training School at Ampakamam was declared open by Major General Amal Karunasekara, Commander, Security Forces - Kilinochchi (SF-KLN) as the chief guest during a brief ceremony, following an invitation extended by Brigadier W.A.V.A Sudasinghe, General Officer Commanding (GOC), 57 Division on Thursday (16).
The accommodation building complex was constructed at a cost of Rs 2.4 m by the troops in the 57 Division under the supervision of the Commander, 574 Brigade.
GOC, 57 Division, Brigade Commanders, senior officers, officers and other ranks took part in the event.
