One more awareness programme on ‘Drug Addiction & Its Prevention Campaign’, organized by the Directorate of Psychological Operations began on Wednesday (5) at Military Intelligence Corps (MIC), Regimental Headquarters in Karandeniya.
A total of 11 MIC officers and 187 Other Ranks participated in the programme and Sri Lanka Army Mental Health Unit was instrumental in the organization of the event.
Lecture assistance to the programme was provided by the Sri Lanka Army Mental Health Unit with the coordination of the Directorate of Psychological Operations.
Lieutenant Colonel A.T.C Ariyarathne and Major U.P Mallawarachchi of the Army Mental Health Unit, along with members of the Directing Staff conducted the day’s lectures.
