Adjutant Course No.1 terminated at Security Force Headquarters Wanni

The Adjutants’ Course No. conducted at the 56 Division of the Security Force Headquarters – Wanni (SFHQ-W) ended a few days ago.

With the intention of enhancing the knowledge on subjects related to roles of the Adjutants in practical and theoretical streams, 20 officers serving under battalions of the SFHQ – W followed the course.

Major General M.H.S.B. Perera, Commander, SFHQ-W graced the final awarding ceremony as the Chief Guest and gave away certificates and awards to the student officers.

Brigadier I.P. Ranasinghe, General Officer Commanding (GOC), 56 Division, GOCs of 61 and 62 Divisions, Brigadier General Staff (BGS), SFHQ-W, senior officers and officers of 56 Division and SFHQ-Wanni witnessed the occasion.

Lieutenant K.M.G.S.W. Kariyawasam, 1 Military Intelligence Corp (MIC) was selected as the best student officer out of 20 student officers.
