HE the President Maithripala Sirisena has appointed Attorney General Jayantha Jayasuriya as the new Chief Justice, Solicitor General President’s Counsel Dappula De Livera as the new acting Attorney General, Additional Auditor General Chulantha Wickremaratne as the new Auditor General, Senior Deputy Inspector General of Police C.D Wickramaratne as the acting Inspector General of Police and former Inspector General of Police N.K Ilangakoon as an adviser to the Ministry of Defence, states a Press Release issued by the President’s Media Division on Monday (29).
