682 Brigade Troops Coordinate Donation of Incentives to Puthukkuddiyirippu Students

Troops of the 682 Brigade under the 68 Division of the Security Force Headquarters - Mullaittivu (SFHQ-MLT), together with the Sri Lanka Scout Association’s Girls Guides in Central Province jointly organized a community welfare project in order to uplift the standards of education among students in Vennavil, Puthukkuddiyirippu in Mullaittivu.

Under the project, troops gave away school accessories, including school books, school bags, pairs of shoes and socks to 150 students at Venavil Sri Murugananda Maha Vidyalaya in Venavil on Wednesday (27).

On the directions of Major General Dushyantha Rajaguru, Commander, Security Forces - Mullaittivu (SF-MLT), Brigadier D.G Hewage, Brigade Commander, 682 Brigade organized this event with the financial sponsorship of Sri Lanka Scout Association’s Girls Guides.

Major General Dushyantha Rajaguru, Commander, SF-MLT, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and distributed gift parcels among students.

Senior officers of the Sri Lanka Scout Association, Army Officers, Principal, students, teachers, parents and Other Ranks attended the ceremony.
