68 Div Initiates Conduct of Seminars for O/L Students in Puthukkuddiyirippu

A chain of G.C.E (O/L) seminars on Mathematics, Science, History and English at Puthukkuddiyirippu Maha Vidyalaya, meant to assist upgrade knowledge of students of low-income groups in Mullaittivu on those subjects got underway during 23-24 November, thanks to an initiative taken by the 68 Division Headquarters of the Security Force Headquarters- Mullaittivu.

253 students took part in the sessions, lectured by Suganan, Iranapalai Maha Vidyalaya, Mr Selvaraj, Zonal Educational Office, Puthukkuddiyirippu, Mr Kadjendran, Iranapalai Maha Vidyalaya, teachers of different subjects. Transportation, meals, snacks and tea were provided to those candidates, participating in the sessions.

On the guidelines given by the Commander Security Forces - Mullaittivu (SF-MLT), the General Officer Commanding, 68 Division, Major General Rasika Fernando organized the project in close consultation with Zonal Education Office, Principals and other authorities for the benefit of students in low -income groups.
