661 Infantry Brigade Troops Assist to Retrieve Toppled Lorry

A private lorry running from Mannar to Jaffna along the A32 road toppled in front of the 661 Infantry Brigade Headquarters at Nalankatti area on Monday (19).

Troops of the 661 Brigade of the 66 Division under the Security Force Headquarters – Kilinochchi (SFHQ-KLN) immediately rushed and assisted to take out passengers trapped inside the lorry after it slipped off the road.

Troops after retrieving the lorry back on to the road assisted to reload dispersed contents and the boxes back into another vehicle.

Afterwards, the driver and the owner, Mr S. Sandaham thanked the 661 Brigade Commander Colonel Priyantha Jayawardhana for the support the troops gave at the time of the accident.
