66 Division Organizes Two Different Christmas Carols in Pooneryn

Troops of 15 (V) Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment (VIR) of the 661 Brigade and 5 (V) Gajaba Regiment (GR) troops of the 663 Brigade under the 66 Division organized two different Christmas Carols in the Pooneryn Catholic Church and in Wallipadu village, Pooneryn on Wednesday (21).

Brigadier D.C Keppetiwalana, General Officer Commanding (GOC), 66 Division graced the Carols as the Chief Guest, conducted in both Tamil and English languages, sung by 15 (V) VIR troops serving in Pooneryn.

A brief service, conduct of Carols and delivery of Christmas message by Rev. Fr. Aruldasan added importance to the occasion at Pooneryn.

Rev. Fr. S Wasanthan, Senior Officers, officers, other ranks and around 1000 civilians attended the Carols at Wallipadu village.
