A stock of school accessories to 121 students of low income group families in Vinayasiyodei school at Gautharamune area were distributed by the 661 Infantry Brigade on Thursday (31).
Those school accessories, sponsored by Ven Maharagama Siriwantha Thero were distributed after selecting the most needed students in the area under the supervision of Brigadier Deepthi Jayathilaka, General Officer Commanding, 66 Infantry Division and under the guidance of Colonel Piyantha Jayawardena, Brigade Commander, 661 Brigade.
The stock contained exercise books, drawing books, pencils, school bags and other accessories.
Troops of 66 Division, teachers and parents were also there to witness the event.
