Security Forces Headquarters, Kilinochchi (SFHQ-KLN) offered its fullest cooperation to the conduct of 3-day long Inter School Athletic Meet, held at Mallavi Madya Maha Vidyalaya during July 26, 27 & 28.
Over 1000 sportsmen and women of 38 schools in the 65 Division area under four age categories vied for supremacy in 100 events during the tournament that ended up with a prize awarding ceremony.
Students from Jayapuram Maha Vidyalaya as the Best School carried away the ‘65 Division Challenge Trophy’ in the tournament, because of their exceptional talents in the 3-day sports meet, organized on the directions given by Major General Udaya Perera, Commander, SFHQ-KLN in coordination with the General Officer Commanding, 65 Division.
Winners received medals, certificates, trophies and merit awards, together with cash prizes of Rs 2000/= each.
Awards were distributed at the end of the ceremony on the final day. Zonal Director of Education, Major General Udaya Perera and a gathering of teachers and principals attended the occasion.
