611 Brigade Troops Construct Sanitary Facilities for Needy Families

Troops of the 611 Brigade with the sponsorship provided by the 'Bauddaya' TV channel constructed three new sanitary facility units (toilets) for three low-income families in Sundarapuram area in Vavuniya and vested them in the benefactors.

Ven Laksegama Vimalaratna Thero, the pioneer behind the project on Wednesday (21) opened them with military invitees who constructed them.

611 Brigade Commander of the 61 Division and Major Sampath Dissanayake, Commanding Officer of 17 (v) Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment supervised and mobilized his troops for this construction on the directions of Major General Rohan Ketakumbura, General Officer Commanding, 61 Division.
