59 Division established on 31st December 2007 in Ranasewapura, Anuradhapura organized a Pirith chanting Pinkama and an alms giving for 16 monks to mark its 6th anniversary at the 59 Division Headquarters premises, Mullaittivu on 11th December.
During the celebration, headed by Brigadier S.K.G.N.B Ehelamalpe, General Officer Commanding, 59 Division, troops organized a special Pooja at Vattappalai kovil, sports events and a musical show during 12 & 13 December.
Senior officers and other ranks of 59 Division attended the occasion.
