58 Division Joins Hands with National Drug Prevention Campaign

One more round of the island-wide National Drug Prevention campaign got to a start in Galle through the coordination done by the 58 Division Headquarters of the Security Force Headquarters – West (SFHQ-West) on Thursday (28) at Galle District Secretariat in parallel with the national ongoing drug prevention week between 26 June and 2 July.

The island-wide drive is launched at all district levels by the Presidential Task Force for Drug Prevention, to be in line with the President Maithripala Sirisena’s manifesto, ‘ A Compassionate Government, a Stable Country’, intended to rid Sri Lanka of all intoxicants and reduce the usage of alcohol, tobacco and smuggled narcotics, etc,

Major General Sudath Perera, General Officer Commanding, 58 Division assisted the programme and represented the arrangement in Galle.
