57 Div's Mega Entertaining Project Attracts Thousands

57 Division Headquarters troops under the Security Force Headquarters-Kilinochchi bringing fun and joy to their hectic lifestyles staged a mega musical entertainment on Saturday (23) at Paravipanjan playground in Kilinochchi. The programme was aimed to promote goodwill, reconciliation and confidence in security among the public. The event included a K-9 kennel show, singing sessions, display of fireworks and band playing.

The event commenced with the K-9 Dog show put up by Sri Lanka Army Commandos' K-9 Unit which stunned the spectators with their outstanding performances with dogs. Subsequently, a mega band display was staged by Sri Lanka Engineers Regimental band whilst fireworks display was exhibited by 9 VIR troops. The final Musical show, staged by 7 Sri Lanka Light Infantry (SLLI) Beat Group thrilled the spectators, mostly comprised of youngsters. Local singers and fans were given the opportunity to perform their talents with the Army Beat Group. Around 1000 civilians with enormous interest watched and took part in the entertaining event.

7 Sri Lanka Light Infantry and 9 Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment (VIR) troops took the lead in organizing the spectacle under the guidance of Brigadier A.S Hewawitharana, General Officer Commanding, 57 Division and under close supervision of Colonel S.A.N.D Edirisinghe, Commander 571 Brigade. bridge media | Mens Flynit Trainers
