A formal ceremony adhering to health guidelines took place to mark the assumption of office of the 21st General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the 56 Division, Major General Nihal Amarasekara of Sri Lanka Engineers on Friday (29) at the 56 Division Headquarters in Kokeliya, Vavuniya amid blessings of the Maha Sangha.
He left his signature for a formal document to signify the acceptance of his new office. To mark this occasion, Brigade Commanders of 561, 562 and 563 Brigades, Staff Officers of the 56 Division HQ, Commanding Officers, Officers and Other Rankers from under command battalions of the 56 Division were present to extend their greetings to the newly-appointed General Officer Commanding. spy offers | nike
