The newly-promoted Major General Senarath Bandara, General Officer Commanding (GOC), 54 Division was accorded a welcome plus felicitation ceremony on Tuesday (4) at the 54 Division Headquarters in Thaladi, Mannar.
The day’s event commenced with a parade after the newly-promoted Major General Bandara arrived at the 54 Division Headquarters premises where religious observances took the centre-stage.
As the next segment of the day’s reception, Major General Bandara addressed under command troops and subsequently shared refreshments with everyone present.
