53 More Army Personnel Qualify in Anti-Tank Guide Missile Course

The Passing out Parade (PoP) of the Anti-Tank Guide Missile Course - Course No 47 took place on Sunday (28) at Minneriya Infantry Training Centre (ITC).

10 Officers and 43 Other Rankers after their training for three months, received their badges during a simple ceremony, headed by Major General Nandana Senadeera, Commander, Security Forces - East (SF-E) as the Chief Guest.

The day’s Chief Guest, Major General Nandana Senadeera on arrival was greeted to a Guard Turnout at the entrance before he took the salute of a ceremonial parade, held in his honour at the premises.

He was warmly welcomed by Brigadier T.J Kodituwakku, Commandant, ITC-Minneriya who afterwards conducted him to the dais to receive the salute.

All course attendees of the Anti- Tank Missile Course took part in the ceremonial parade. During his stay, the day’s Chief Guest who toured the entire ITC compound opened a mini display of weapons in the premises, meant for a group of Navy personnel visiting the ITC around the same time.

Officers, Other Rankers and relatives of course attendees were present at the ceremony.
