To coincide with the World Children's Day, 52 Division Headquarters of the Security Force Headquarters - Jaffna (SFHQ-J) gifted school accessories, stationery and school shoes to a selected group of 49 deserving school students at Karampagam Government's Tamil Mixed School in Mirusuvil, following sponsorship provided by the ‘Shatter of the Silence’ charity organization on Monday (1).
A lunch treat organized by the same 52 Division troops were also served to those students after the donation ceremony.
The programme, launched with the blessings of the Commander, Security Forces - Jaffna (SF-J) Major General Darshana Hettiarachchi was supervised by the General Officer Commanding (GOC), 52 Division Major General Laksiri Waduge who also joined the occasion with donors.
