27th anniversary of the 515 Brigade in Kankesanthurai under the 51 Division of the Security Force Headquarters-Jaffna was marked in a chain of events, giving priority to religious observances.
On Tuesday (14) with the participation of the Brigade Commander Colonel Senaka Kasthurimudali, troops donated blood to the patients in the North during an arrangement made at the premises. An overnight Pirith chanting invoked blessings on All Ranks the same evening.
On the anniversary day, the Brigade Commander was saluted in a parade after he was greeted to a Guard Turnout at the entrance in conformity with military formalities.
