5 VIR Wins Badminton Championship
Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment (VIR) held its Inter-Battalion Badminton Tournament on Friday (22) at the Indoor stadium at VIR regimental headquarters premises, Boyagane.
Major General N.A.J.C Dias, Colonel of the Regiment, VIR witnessed the finals as the Chief Guest.
5 VIR team emerged victorious by beating the Regimental Headquarters Battalion. 9 VIR Battalion was placed third.
Many senior officers and badminton fans attended the event.
