4 (V) CES Troops to Complete Improvised QC inside Homagama Base Hospital

Corps of 4 (Volunteer) Engineer Service (CES) Regiment troops on the directions of Lieutenant General Shavendra Silva, Chief of Defence Staff and Commander of the Army have undertaken the task of improvising the Homagama Base Hospital to serve as a Quarantine Centre (QC) for COVID-19 affected patients in response to a request of the Health Ministry.

After rounds of discussions between the hospital’s Medical Superintendent, Specialist Dr Janitha Hettiarachchi and Brigadier R Ganegoda, Director of Engineer Services and Colonel Commandant, CES, the project was mapped out improvising necessary plans in consultation with Director General of Health Services.

Lieutenant Colonel P.N Wijesooriya, Commanding Officer, 4 (V) CES on Tuesday visited the work site and inspected final touches, being given by his troops. The improvised QC is to be officially handed over to the hospital authorities within a few days. best Running shoes | jordan Release Dates
