4 SLSR Troops in KLN Clean ‘St Theresa' Roman Catholic Church in Anandapuram

Troops of the 4 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment of the 574 Brigade on a suggestion made by Major General Niyshshanka Ranawana, Commander, Security Forces – Kilinochchi (SFHQ-KLN) launched a 'Shramadana' project to clean ‘St Theresa Roman Catholic Church premises in Anandapuram on account of the National War Heroes Day during May 16,17 and 19.

Around 60 troops voluntarily took part in removing garbage around the old church building and redoing the access road up to the church before the premises was made neat and tidy. Civilians also joined hands with KLN troops.
