3 SLSR Troops Re-build Landslide-Affected ‘Chaithya’ Premises

Troops of the 3 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (SLSR) serving under the Security Force Headquarters - Central (SFHQ-C) provided their labour assistance to repair the ‘Chaithya’ premises (Chaithya Maluwa) of Jinendraramaya in Kandapola, N’Eliya on Friday (20).

At the request made by the Chief Incumbent at the Jinendraramaya, troops re-built the landslide-affected pagoda premises. The re-construction of the wall would help prevent recurrence of future landslide threats in the future.

The Chief Incumbent and the members of the laity paid their gratitude to the SLSR troops for the work.
