233 Bde Troops Support Community Projects

Troops serving the 233 Brigade under the Security Force Headquarters – East (SFHQ – East) organized a Shramadana programme at the Bodhirajarama Temple in Kadawaththuduwa on the directions of Major General D.D.U.K Hettiarachchi, General Officer Commanding (GOC), 23Division.

On Monday (9) a total of 88 Army personnel including 3 Officers and 85 other ranks of 6 Gajaba Regiment, 17 (Volunteer) Sri Lanka Light Infantry and 18 Sri Lanka National Guard (SLNG) troops attached to the 233 Brigade cleaned the temple premises subsequent to a request of the Chief Incumbent in the temple.

40 civilians also in the area joined the Army troops to complete the project.
