23 Division’s New GOC Assumes Duties

Major General H.W.S.D.B Pananwala assumed duties as the new General officer Commanding of the 23 Division on Tuesday (3) at 23 Division Headquarters, Punani.

Amidst multi religious observances Major General Pananwala signed an official document symbolizing the assumption of office.

After that the newly appointed GOC planted a Mango tree sapling at the Headquarters premises.

Major General Pananwala served as the Director General Staff Duties at the Army Headquarters before his appointment as the General officer Commanding of 23 Division.

Several senior officers and other ranks attended the event.
