Troops of the 22 Sri Lanka National Guard (22 SLNG) in the Security Force Headquarters – Jaffna (SFHQ-J) celebrated their 20th anniversary on 28 July 2018 with a series of commemorative programmes.
It included a special Bodhi Puja and a blood donation campaign on the directions of the Commanding Officer Major Lalith Samarakoon.
Similarly, military formalities got underway with a Guard Turnout on the same day. The salute was presented to the Commanding Officer by troops of the 22 SLNG.
