22 Division troops of the Security Force Headquarters – East (SFHQ-E) recently organized a blood donation campaign on the guidelines given by the General Officer Commanding (GOC), 22 Division, Major General Aruna Jayasekara at the 22 Division Headquarters in Trincomalee.
This meritorious project was organized under the supervision of Major General Aruna Jayasekara, GOC, 22 Division in response to a request made by Dr R.A Devarajah in charge of the Blood Bank, Trincomalee Hospital.
More than 150 Army personnel together with Officers participated in the meritorious programme and donated blood for the welfare of patients.
Hospital Director and the staff thanked the Army for their generosity.
