Several commemorative events marked the 15th anniversary of the 22 Division in Trincomalee on Monday (23) under the directions given by the General Officer Commanding, 22 Division.
Brigadier A.M. Weerasuriya, General Officer commanding, 22 Division attending the commemorative ceremony 1st inspected the Guard Turnout and received the Guard of Honour, accorded by 22 Division troops at Keselthuduwa camp.
A tree planting drive and opening of a new barber saloon in the premises, followed by an all rank lunch plus a musical show, culminated the anniversary commemoration programme of the 22 Division.
