22 Division Helps GCE (A/L) Candidates Sitting August Exam

222 Brigade troops under command to the 22 Division Headquarters for the benefit of A/L candidates sitting the GCE (A/L) examination in August this year organized a seminar on English and Economics on Friday (6) at Kantale Central College.

Around 360 students, representing Kantale Central College, Agbopura Central, Agrabodhi Central College, Ganthalawa Central College, Vanela Vidyalaya and Mollipothana Vidyalaya took part in those seminar sessions, lectured by popular lecturers in the area.

Director, Zonal Education office, Kantale co-operated with Army Officers for staging the event. Director of zonal education office (retired), Ratnapura Mr S.M.N Bandara and Mr W.A.C.P Ariyawimala, a reputed lecturer conducted the lectures.

General Officer Commanding, 22 Division, Major General Aruna Jayasekara advised the 222 Brigade Commander, Brigadier Deepal Pussella to coordinate the conduct of the seminar. 5 Regiment Sri Lanka Artillery troops arranged all administrative requirements, including refreshments for students.
