NORTH: On information received, troops and KANKESANTHURAI Police recovered two hundred and fifty rounds of M-16 ammunition, two hundred rounds of Multi Purpose Machine Gun (MPMG) ammunition, five 84 mm fuses, one 60 mm fuses, seven smoke bombs and two 60 mm mortar bombs from VIMANKAMAM NORTH - JAFFNA area on Tuesday (21).

Meanwhile, de-mining groups recovered fifty-one anti personnel mines from KOVILKUNCHIKULAM area on the same day (21).
