The finals in the 21 Division - organized Inter Division Swimming Competition - 2019 got underway at the Security Force Headquarters – Wanni (SFHQ-W) Swimming Pool complex of the 4 Sri Lanka Signal Corps camp premises at Anuradhapura on Monday (18).
Swimmers in 21, 54, 56, 61 and 62 Divisions of the SFHQ-W and Forward Maintenance Area - North Central (FMA-NC) along with Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps (SLAWC) teams competed in different categories during the tournament (15 - 18 March) before the finals were held.
Major General Prabath Dematanpitiya General Officer Commanding, 56 Division on behalf of Major General Kumudu Perera, Commander, Security Forces - Wanni attended the finals as the Chief Guest and gave away trophies to winners.
The Swimming Meet established many records in both men’s and women’s events exhibiting their professional talents in swimming.
