14 Division Troops Launched One More ‘Dengue’ Campaign

Troops of the Security Force Headquarters - West (SFHQ-West) on the instructions of the Ministry of Defence and the Army Headquarters actively contributed to the Dengue prevention campaign on Saturday (23) hand in hand with National Dengue Control Unit workers of the Health Ministry.

The team carefully inspected home compounds, drains, garbage collecting areas and other covered areas for possible mosquito-breeding places in the Biyagama area and its suburbs. 

On the instructions of Major General Sudantha Ranasinghe, Commander, Security Forces - West, 2 officers and 70 other ranks of the 14 Division (SFHQ-West) conducted the programme with the assistance of Medical Officers and Public Health Inspectors (PHI) in the area.
