12 Division’s 5th Anniversary Marked with Different Events

The 5th anniversary of the 12 Division Headquarters of the Security Force Headquarters - Central (SFHQ-C) was celebrated with a series of community projects and a sports tournament a few days back.

Volleyball, cricket, tug of war and several other games among officers and soldiers kicked off the arrangement. In addition, more than 60 troops cleaned up Hambantota Base Hospital premises and its wards under a Shramadana project to coincide with the anniversary. The final programme on April 1 saw adults in the Godawaya Sarana Home for the Blind and Elderly served with a special meal on account of the anniversary.   

Major General P.R.H Dias, General Officer Commanding, 12 Division organized the programme for the anniversary.
