On the directions of Brigadier W.A.N.M. Weerasinghe, General Officer Commanding, 12 Division, a volleyball tournament was held to coincide with the 4th anniversary of the 12 Division at the 12 Division Headquarters volleyball courts on 19 March.
A total of 7 teams representing Brigades and Battalions under the 12 Division participated in the tournament which saw 12 Gemunu Watch (GW) and 12 (V) GW teams qualify for the finals.
Colonel K.M.R. Abeysinghe, Colonel General Staff, 12 Division graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and gave away the certificates and trophies to the winning and runners-up teams.
