Troops of the 12 Division in Hambantota under the Security Force Headquarters - Central (SFHQ-Cen) organized ‘Dansela’ (free eatery) for devotees attending the Kataragama Esala Festival. It is conducted during 13 - 27 July inside the Devala premises.
Under the close supervision of Major General Nishantha Wanniarachhci, General Officer Commanding (GOC), 12 Division, 8 Sri Lanka Army Service Corps (SLASC) troops and 12 Division troops along with well-wishers in the area assisted the arrangement by providing necessary manpower and dry rations.
