Control of Dengue epidemic in Ambagamuwa, Mulleriyawa and Kotikawatta areas received Army support in response to requests made by health officials in respective areas.
Accordingly, hundreds of troops serving 112 Brigade Headquarters of the 12 Division under Security Forces Headquarters, South (SFHQ-S) joined hands together with state officials and carried out cleaning and surveillance roles in those areas.
