A security coordinating conference on the conduct of the annual Kandy Esala pageant got underway at the 11 Division Headquarters in Pallekele on Friday (19), chaired by Major General Senarath Bandara, General Officer Commanding, 11 Division.
It was attended by 111 Brigade Commander, Colonel W.B.W.M.R.S.P Aluvihare, Senior Police Superintendent for Kandy, M.N Sisira Kumara, Senior Army, Navy, Air Force and Police Officers.
