10 (V) Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment (VIR) troops of the Security Force Headquarters - Jaffna (SFHQ-J) on account of their 24th anniversary launched a blood donation camp for the benefit of patients at the Jaffna Teaching Hospital on Thursday (24) at their battalion Headquarters premises in Maradankerni.
A total of 102 Army personnel including Officers and Other Ranks of the 10 VIR troops volunteered to donate blood during the mobile campaign.
The doctors and medical team of the Jaffna Reaching Hospital thanked the Army for its timely gesture.
