A number of formations of the Security Force Headquarters (SFHQs) continue to support the ‘Wana Ropa’ programme of the government as per directions of the Ministry of Environment.
12 Division under the Security Force Headquarters-Central (SFHQ-C) conducted their tree planting programme on 22 October at the 12 Divisional Headquarter premises under the guidance of Major General P.R.H. Dias, General Officer Commanding, 12 Division.
Colonel K.M.R. Abeysinghe, Colonel General Staff, 12 Division, together with officers and other ranks attended the programme.
Meanwhile, troops of the Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police (SLCMP) Training School in Giritale did their share for tree planting programme on 25 October.
