Soldiers serving 9 Battalion of Gajaba Regiment of 622 Brigade under 62 Division, with the co-operation of ‘Old Anandians – 82’ group of the Colombo Ananda College, organized the ‘Katina Cheewara Pooja Pinkama’ of Kiriibbanwewa Sri Dharma Pranntharama temple at Vavuniya on Sunday (20).
General Officer Commanding 62 Division, Old Anandians and past teachers, senior officers, other ranks and villagers attended the Pinkama with enthusiasm.
A large gathering of devotees took part in the ceremony.
