‘Guna Jaya Sathuta Padanama’ (Goodness Foundation) in Colombo under the leadership of Mr Kushil Gunesekera, contributed to the welfare of school children and poor civilians of Katkulam area by donating a big stock of school accessories. 30 underprivileged students of the Marutodai, Katkulam Primary School and distribution of push bicycles worth around Rs. 10,500.00 among 19 low income beneficiaries of the Katkulam area on Monday (15) were thus benefited.
The programme was coordinated by 11 Gemunu Watch of the 62 Division. Members of the ‘Guna Jaya Sathuta Padanama’, senior officers and many civilians were also present in the event.
