    1 SLAGSC Detachment - Kuttigala Reaps its First Paddy Harvest Following Ancient Practices

    The age-long traditions, rites and rituals, associated with paddy-harvesting season were brought back to life once again and followed closely when troops of the 1 Sri Lanka Army General Service Corps (SLAGSC) Detachment at Kuttigala - Padalangala on Saturday (12) assembled to harvest fields, ploughed and sown by 1 SLAGSC troops in line with the 'Thuru Mithuru Nawa Ratak' project of the Commander of the Army.

    Sri Lanka Armoured Corps organized an Inter Unit Debate Competition during 19 August- 2 September 2020 at the Armoured Corps Training Centre (ACTC). The finals took place at the Rock House Camp and the Competition was devised to enhance the Officers’ capacity in analyzing in-depth issues, weigh cons and pros, arrive at sound courses of action, team building, thinking at ground level and oral presentation skills, etc.
