    Low income group civilians in Kallar and adjoining areas recently attended a special eye clinic, organized by 22 Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment (VIR) troops serving the 222 Brigade Headquarters at Jayanthigama, Kantale. A group of eye surgeons and optometrists from peripheral hospitals and Kantale Base Hospital examined over 200 civilians, affected with vision and other related impairments and prescribed treatments accordingly.
