Request for Contributions Towards the Army Seva Vanitha Scholarship Project


The Scholarship project has been launched by the Seva Vanitha Amy Branch to offer financial assistance for the education of the children of disabled soldiers/soldiers killed in action and currently serving soldiers. The most deserving eligible children will be selected by a board of members of the Seva Vanitha Army Branch and Directorate of Additional Welfare of Sri Lanka Army.
The newly proposed scholarship scheme is categorized as follows;

      a. Category 1 (Year 1-5) Rs: 15,000/- per child.
      b. Category 2 (Year 6-O’ Level) Rs: 20,000/- per child.
      c. Category 3 (A’ Level) Rs: 25,000/- per child.

We earnestly request your assistance by way of sponsorship towards the said scholarship project which would ensure a bright future of a needy child. The cheques could issue in favour of the respective account of the child. For that Seva Vanitha Army Branch will provide necessary details to the donor. And also we are specially requesting from you to remit money as a lump sum. Each and every such donation would be personally acknowledged by the President of the Seva Vanitha Army Branch.

If someone is willing to donate a scholarship to a child, he or she can contact the Seva Vanitha Army Branch through Telephone or E-mail. Thereafter we can provide him or her with the details of the child.
