The newly-renovated residential quarters of other ranks serving the 121 Brigade Headquarters in Galle, was formally handed over to them during a brief ceremony on Wednesday (12).

Troops through their patronage and labour renovated the old building at a cost of Rs 2.5 million after laboring hard since a proper residential place remained a long-felt need of the Headquarters.

Brigadier A.S Ariyasinghe, Commander, 121 Brigade Headquarters as the Chief Guest opened the new renovated building and inspected it, together with the officers and soldiers.
