Two Electric Wheelchairs Donated to Permanently Disable Soldiers

‘Millennium IT’ Company with the help of their overseas friends was generous to donate two most modern electric wheelchairs to two dependent War Heroes residing at Anuradhapura, ‘Abhimansala-1’, wellness resort for lifetime care of dependent War Heroes.

During the most recent 1st anniversary celebrations of the ‘Abhimansala-1’, the Commander of the Army Lieutenant General Jagath Jayasuriya, together with Mrs Manjulika Jayasuriya, President, Seva Vanitha Army Branch (SVAB) gave away those two wheelchairs, each worth about Rs 170,000.00.

Though the donors of those wheelchairs could not come to attend the anniversary event, they have promised the SVAB with further support in the future.
